| Abstract | In this study, we proposed a neural network model to predict the air conditioning set points of occupants. Key parameters for the predictionis found with the previous literature. Along the found parameters, an artificial neural network (ANN) model is established, and trainedwith the data collected during actual occupancy. Preprocessing including to interpolate missing value and to normalize is conducted aswell. The result showed the desired setpoint of the occupant can be estimated with the machine learning techniques, pointing the possibilityof the retrofitting of the existing system to reflect the preference of the occupant. |
