간접식 증발 냉각 및 진공 멤브레인 기반 제습 냉방 시스템의 에너지 성능 분석

AbstractFor the efficient handling of indoor thermal load, various cooling and dehumidification systems have been developed to replace conventional vapor compression system. In this paper, a new hybrid air conditioning system that combines an indirect evaporative cooler (IEC) as pre-cooling unit and a vacuum membrane dehumidifier (VMD) and air handling unit is proposed. In the proposed system, the outdoor air is pre-cooled by the IEC and isothermally dehumidified by the VMD and adjusted to the set supply air temperature by air handling unit. The cooling energy consumption of the proposed system was compared to a conventional VAV system by a simulation. A virtual building thermal load was calculated using TRNSYS 18 and the simulation was performed using Engineering Equation Solver. The results showed that the proposed system reduced the energy consumption by 44% in cooling season. The main reason of the reduction was the absence of the reheating energy consumption by VMD and pre-cooling of IEC.
