| Abstract | In this study, a liquid desiccant system was applied to the rear door cooling system to reduce the cooling energy of the data
center. As the humidity of the outside air is lowered, the wet bulb temperature is also lowered. Energy used in the chiller
could be reduced by lowering the cooling water outlet temperature of the cooling tower. The outdoor air used was used in the
last three areas with high latitudes (Cheolwon, Chuncheon, and Seoul) and two areas with low latitudes (Daegu and Gwangju).
As a result of simulation, the chiller saved energy up to 37.19%, and the PUE value could be reduced by 5%. |
