AbstractThis study presents an experimental analysis of the humidification performance of a cross-flow hollow fiber membrane module. Membrane humidifier selectively transfers water vapor through the membrane, effectively humidifying air without allowing liquid water transfer. Experiments were performed under variations in airflow and water temperature. Results indicate that water temperature significantly affects on humidification performance, as higher temperatures enhance the vapor transfer driving force, thereby elevating the outlet humidity. In contrast, higher airflow rates decrease the outlet air humidity due to decrease of number of transfer unit (NTU).
