Abstract | The purpose of this study is to develop the dehumidification rate model for the liquid desiccant system based on a solution atomization. The dehumidification rate data were obtained by designed experiment cases under various operating parameters to propose the simplified model. The air mass flow rate, air temperature, air humidity ratio, solution mass flow rate, solution temperature, and solution concentration were selected as operating parameters. The experimental results indicated that the solution temperature has high effect on the dehumidification rate. Finally, the simplified regression model that return the dehumidification rate was derived as a function of the selected parameters, and the model has 0.95 R-squared value. |
