AbstractThe objective of this study is to propose a fuel cell-powered liquid desiccant cooling system for smart farms, efficiently meeting livestock's temperature and humidity needs, which conventional barns often struggle with. This system uses liquid desiccant cooling to dehumidify and cool outside air, making efficient use of fuel cell-generated heat and electricity for solution regeneration and outdoor air cooling. Implementing this system is expected to create a more energy-efficient indoor environment for the barn compared to relying solely on conventional ventilation.
