Abstract | The main purpose in this paper is estimate the primary energy savings and CO₂ reduction acquired by
Photovoltaic/Thermal system into the established liquid desiccant-assisted evaporative cooling system. In case
of system to produce the thermal and electrical energy at the same time, set the baseline load have a major
impact on economic efficiency of the entire system and the environmental performance. Thus, a simulation
used an operation strategy that uses baseline load is evaluated and compared to the energy savings. The
results of the simulation show that the PV/T system consumes 94~100% less primary energy compared to
using existing energy source during summer required maximum monthly load; following thermal load
operation (94~97% primary energy save), following electrical load operation (100% primary energy save). |
